✨ A New Era of Creative Intelligence: Reflections on the Billus AI Launch from The Five Studios

By Li Maomao | Office Director, The Five Studios

On July 30th, 2025, we had the incredible honor of participating in the Billus AI Launch Conference in Shenzhen, China. The event was not only a technological unveiling, but also a cultural moment that signaled the beginning of a new chapter in the relationship between artificial intelligence and original design.

On behalf of The Five Studios, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Billus Design for the kind invitation. We were especially proud to see our Art Director, Mr. Hatem Khemmar, warmly welcomed as a guest at this meaningful event. His presence not only symbolized a creative alliance, but also highlighted the power of international collaboration in shaping the future of design.

🤖 Billus AI: Not Just a Product, but a Vision

The theme of the event, “Share Intelligence, Win the Future Together,” captured a core truth we hold dear: AI is not here to replace creativity, but to enhance it. The unveiling of Billus AI introduced far more than a platform — it revealed an ecosystem designed to empower designers, artists, and storytellers to push boundaries, imagine boldly, and act faster and smarter.

We were especially inspired by the symbolic launch of the Billus AI mascot, a futuristic rabbit-like character embodying the fusion of tech precision and cultural soul. It’s a visual reminder that the future of branding and design lies in emotionally intelligent, visually iconic storytelling — and that AI can help bring that to life.

🧠 AI in Design: A New Frontier

As a multidisciplinary design studio working across planning, architecture, interior design, VR experiences, and immersive cultural spaces, we at The Five Studios see immense potential in the thoughtful integration of AI.

AI can analyze patterns faster than we can. It can generate iterations, customize visuals, and support ideation with incredible speed. But what excites us most is how AI can liberate human designers — freeing them from routine tasks and allowing them to focus on the poetic, emotional, and human parts of creativity.

Design is no longer just about making things look good. It’s about crafting experiences that connect people, tell stories, and shape environments. When AI becomes a collaborator, the design process becomes more adaptive, more inclusive, and more agile.

🌍 Mr. Hatem’s Reflections at the Event

Mr. Hatem, representing The Five Studios at the conference, emphasized the need for a global, artistic approach to AI integration. He shared insights into how AI is transforming not just tools and workflows, but also our philosophy as designers — encouraging us to reframe the way we think about authorship, originality, and the role of technology in storytelling.

His participation reminded everyone that while technology builds the frame, it is art and humanity that provide the content. The presence of an international voice among a Chinese tech and design audience created a strong sense of shared vision and mutual respect, which we believe will only grow stronger with time.

🤝 Looking Ahead: Collaboration, Not Competition

We walked away from the event feeling energized — not only by the impressive technology on display, but by the spirit of openness, innovation, and cooperation that filled the room. As a studio that blends East and West, tradition and innovation, The Five Studios is excited about the future of design powered by AI — but more importantly, about the future of co-creation.

Platforms like Billus AI are not just tools — they are bridges between cultures, industries, and disciplines. We look forward to exploring future collaborations, building intelligent, creative ecosystems, and co-developing solutions that are not just smart, but beautiful, meaningful, and human-centered.

🙏 A Final Word of Thanks

To everyone at Billus Design, we say thank you. Thank you for your generosity, your bold vision, and your belief in a future where design and AI grow together — responsibly, ethically, and imaginatively.

We look forward to what comes next.

With appreciation,

Li Maomao
